“At the end of each year, it’s exciting to see the continuous growth that The St. Joe Community Foundation has been able to generate in terms of grants awarded to deserving local charities,” said April Wilkes, Executive Director of The St. Joe Community Foundation. “But it’s even more exciting to see what happens when those funds get out into the community and start to make real differences in the lives of people in Northwest Florida.”

“Thanks to our local not for profit partners, we are achieving improvements in quality of life for people in our community who may have been struggling to receive healthcare before, or to fund educational, environmental, or cultural art programs,” said Jorge Gonzalez, President and CEO of The St. Joe Company and Member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. “By working together, we believe we are making important improvements in Bay and Walton counties.”

In total, the Foundation has now granted over $43 million since 1999 to 501(C)(3) organizations dedicated to making a positive difference in Northwest Florida.
