SeaLight Festival

The SeaLight Festival has made its debut at Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach and runs through March 31, 2024, Thursday thru Sunday from 5pm – 10pm. The whimsical outdoor walk-through experience showcases over a thousand intricately designed Chinese lanterns and invites visitors of all ages to explore a luminous landscape inspired by Chinese mythology, astrology, and folklore. Attendees will be amazed as they traverse dazzling displays of colorful, festive lights and lanterns, including an animal kingdom, a sea world, and assorted family activities. Adventures in Alys March 4-April 1

Alys Web 1Proudly presented by the Alys Foundation, Adventures in Alys, a completely original storytelling experience for children of all ages takes place Monday & Thursday at 10 a.m., March 4 – April 1, in the Amphitheatre. Watch as The REP Theatre actors perform a masterfully improvised story based on audience suggestions.

Rapunzel at Alys Beach Amphitheatre March 5 – April 2

Alys Improv Hour Wednesdays March 6-April 3

Alys Improv Hour takes place Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Alys Beach Amphitheater, March 6 – April 3. Join The REP’s improv troupe, The Awkward Oxen, as they play improv games, and make up scenes and songs on the spot based on audience suggestions. Don’t worry, if you suffer from a bit of stage fright you’re free to hang out and watch and get some laughs.

Movie Mondays at The Village of Baytowne Wharf

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and cozy up on the Events Plaza Lawn for a featured film. Free and open to the public. Movies start at 7:15 p.m.  March 18: Shrek, March 25: The Lorax, April 1: Peter Rabbit.

Scallyway Sundays at Baytowne Wharf

Join Sandestin’s Village of Baytowne Wharf for magic, music, and mayhem! Watch as featured pirate Captain Davy takes you on an adventure with two magic shows on stage at 7 p.m. & 8 p.m. Sundays, March 24th – March 31st. Admission is FREE and open to the public. 

Baytowne Wharf Boomin’ Tuesdays & DJ Dance Party

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is hosting a Boomin’ Tuesday extravaganza every week. Enjoy singing and dancing with DJ Mike Whitty in the Events Plaza from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Then watch as they light up the night sky with a breathtaking fireworks show over the Lagoon at 8:30 p.m.! 

Fly Guy Thursdays at Baytowne Wharf

Enjoy shows from fly-board extraordinaire Ben Merrell over the lagoon on Thursdays, March 21st – April 4th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Watch as he soars to the sky and makes waves on Thursday nights in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Admission is FREE and open to the public.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Alys Beach March 30

Rosemary Beach Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt March 31

Easter Celebration & Annual Egg Hunt takes place on Sunday, March 31 in Rosemary Beach. The annual egg hunt kicks off at 9:45 a.m. Enjoy a complimentary mimosa from Summer Kitchen Café and get your photos taken with the Easter Bunny at Gigi’s immediately following the egg hunt. Dust Off Your Boots and Get Ready to Rodeo! March 22-23

Westonwoodranch 3rdrodeo BThe 5th Annual Westonwood Ranch Pro Rodeo returns March 22-23 to the City of Freeport Sports Complex. The professionally sanctioned rodeo benefits Westonwood Ranch, an organization whose mission and programs serve teens and young adults with Autism and related developmental disorders.

Come watch some of the nation’s top cowgirls and cowboys compete. Contestants will compete in events including bareback riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping and bull riding. Rodeo gates open at 6 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. each night. Come early to enjoy live pre-rodeo entertainment at 6:30 by David Gautreau, food vendors, children’s inflatable play area and more! Tickets for the Westonwood Ranch PCA Rodeo are sold at the gate: $20 adults; $15 children 12 years and younger. Free admission for children ages 2 and under. No ticket presales. Doggie EGGstravaganza March 29 

Dog-Harmony presents the 9th Annual Doggie EGGstravaganza, a canine-only Easter egg hunt and doggie social, at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin’s Grand Park on Friday, March 29, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Hundreds of dogs and their “furrless” friends will trample the North Lawn while hunting for colorful treat-filled eggs and enjoying live music, libations and lite bites. Puppy-friendly treats will be hidden in over 800 colorful eggs scattered throughout the lawn with designated areas for pets over and under 25 pounds. Free to the public, with a $15 donation or $20 day of the event to participate in the egg hunt. All dogs must be leashed — no prong, choke or shock collars permitted.
