Join Grayton Beach State Park staff and volunteers to help restore native Longleaf Pine habitat. Longleaf Restoration Project begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.
This project helps to return these Longleaf Ecosystems to their pre paper company balance. The benefits of reducing Sand pines allows the Longleaf pines that we have planted over the past few years to prosper. Email christopher.dixon@floridadep.gov for more information and to sign-up.
Attendees are encouraged to bring work gloves, sun protective clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, close-toed shoes, long pants, & a refillable water bottle.
